Paula has been a pharmacist since 2009. She received her bachelor’s in Chemistry and History from University of Arizona. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Midwestern University. Paula has managed several different pharmacies in the Phoenix. Her experience includes; administering vaccinations (including travel vaccinations), compounding, retail operations, specialty medications, medication therapy management and tons of customer service. Paula is devoted to helping people and her patients. Additionally, Paula is a preceptor for Midwestern University and enjoys working with students. Outside of work Paula is a wife and mom. She has been married since 2003 and has 2 girls. Her hobbies include running, watching or reading anything history related, being outside, and music.

Jacki was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Arizona in 2010. She came to Valley of the Sun as a filling technician with over 25 years of experience in Long Term Care and 3 years of Retail Pharmacy. She has been with Valley of the Sun for a year. In her spare time Jacki enjoys hiking, kayaking, and creative writing.

Ben supervises and assists in the delivery of all prescription medications and pharmaceutical supplies requiring same day delivery. He coordinates all phases of the delivery process from the time your prescription leaves the pharmacy until it arrives safely at your residence or place of business. Strict adherance to HIPPA law, privacy practices and medication safety are his highest priority. Prior to joining our pharmacy team, he worked as an architect, designing large building projects, hotels, airports and residential homes. Many of the buildings you will see in Phoenix were designed by Ben. We are proud to have him as a member of our team.

Debrah received her nursing degree in 1981 and continued to further her education in the healthcare field. She moved to Arizona in 1990 from Ohio. With over 30 years’ experience in the acute care field primarily in quality, risk, and managed care, she recently obtained several years on the insurance side of the business. She is an excellent resource for your insurance and case management questions. Her personal vision is to serve the patient and provider with the best compassion and advocacy as possible. Debrah has a passion and is very active in a 501 C 3 organization called BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) since 2014.

Marlyn, whom has been a Pharmacy Technician for 3 years, is the newest addition to the Valley of the Sun Specialty Department. She is a college student who is pursuing her interest in becoming a pharmacist to better serve and care for patients. Marlyn is a fluent Spanish speaker, which she is immensely proud of because this allows her to care for an additional vast group of people. When she isn’t caring for Valley of the Sun Patients or in school, she can probably be found participating in her 2 favorite hobbies which include: napping, and Binge-Watching TV shows.

Monique is a Certified Pharmacy Technician who was born and raised in MN. She moved to AZ and eagerly joined our specialty medication care team in December of 2016. Monique is an altruistic individual who always takes the extra step for our patients. She has a very quick prior authorization turn around time, and is a genie with resolving prescription insurance issues. Her dedication to helping our patients is a valued trait in our pharmacy.

Jack Briggs has joined Tailstorm Health Inc. as the President of Valley Of The Sun
Pharmacy. Jack brings almost twenty years of pharmaceutical sales and
management experience to Tailstorm. When not at VOSRx, he enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs where
they are probably watching hockey. He also loves the beach and all things Disney.
