Pediatric Compounding

pediatric-compounding Giving your children medicine can be a difficult task for both parent and child. There are many challenges you may need to deal with from the taste and form of medications to allergies that may conflict with your child, sometimes the mass-manufactured medication product may not fit you or your child’s needs. We may be able to provide comfort and ease of use through compounding. We can help by compounding your child’s prescribed medication and flavoring it to your child’s preference, making it more pleasurable for them to take.

Sometimes the medication that is prescribed to your child may only be available in the manufactured form of a tablet and/or capsule. Children sometimes have difficulties ingesting or swallowing the capsule/ tablet. In some cases, the prescribed medications may only be available commercially in strengths used to treat adults or different age ranges. As Valley of the Sun Pharmacy is a compounding pharmacy, we can make a flavored compounded suspension that will make administering medication easier.

Sale of the Product(s) between the pharmacy and you are completed at the physical establishment, in the jurisdiction, in which the pharmacy operates (15600 N. Black Canyon Hwy, Suite B135, Phoenix, AZ). You become the owner of the Product when the pharmacy accepts your order for fulfillment, places the Product in a container or otherwise completes the steps necessary to prepare it for your use, and causes your payment and or insurance to be processed. You are then responsible for picking up or otherwise arranging the delivery of the Product to your address. All steps connected with the transportation of Product orders are carried out by you or by someone acting as your agent on your behalf.
